The Lanark Village Boat Club Incorporated (Boat Club) was formed in 1961 as a non-profit social club and continues to be an important part of the Lanark Village community. In addition to operating the boat launching facilities, the Boat Club coordinates numerous events annually for members and the general public.
Without the Board oversight and members assistance, these events would not be offered. The officers of the Board of Directors (Board) are resident members who volunteer to serve for a one-year period – January 1 through December 31.
The annual nomination period is now open through the December 19th Meeting (the third Thursday). . Each Board positions will be considered as "Vacant" for 2020 and will be filled by member vote. Note that existing Board members are available to answer any questions about their position (i.e., at the November meeting) and will be available for the transition period for new Board members.
