2023 GUIDELINES AND FEES - Effective January 1, 2021
BOAT LAUNCHING - ANNUAL LAUNCH PASS
Since January 1,
2019, you must be an active member of the
Lanark Village Boat Club to use the boat launching facilities.
Eligibility and Restrictions:
- Be a Associate or Resident member of
LVBC.
- Launch pass period – during the calendar year
January 1 – December 31 (no prorating).
- A pass is only useable by applicant for launching that applicant’s boat.
- A pass does not authorize use of the slips.
Two different Options for Launching a Boat:
- Option #1 - Buy a separate Annual launch pass for $100
–unlimited launching.
- Option #2 – Membership issued Access pass allows for daily launching but must pay $10 per each launch fee at the ramp.
Identification:
- Launch pass must be visible at all times - hung
on rear view mirror of launching vehicle.
- If no launch pass is visible tag number will be recorded (for documenting infraction).
- Launching without a pass can result in loss of
launching privileges
Application

, at the launch ramp, the LVBC clubhouse, and at the Village Mart adjacent to the launch ramp..
- After you have received your Resident membership card (and Access pass) or Associate membership ACCESS pass you can submit an annual launch pass application. (You can submit both membership and Launch Pass applications at the same time.)
- Checks made out to Lanark Village Boat Club, Inc..
- Application

- Or dropped in the pay box at the launching
ramp.
- Or processed in the Village Mart.
SLIP RENTAL & WATERCRAFT STORAGE
You
must be a Resident member of the Lanark Village Boat Club to
rent a slip or a space on the watercraft storage rack.
Note that an annual launch pass is included with the slip/storage rack.
Rental Conditions:
- Rental period – the calendar year January 1
– December
- Obligated to donated set number of hours supporting the LVBC .
- Renters are responsible for reporting approved donated hours.
- Failure to complete the donated hours in the year
will result in loss of future rental privileges.
- Launch pass must be visible whenever launching
your boat.
- Only applicant can use the assigned slip/storage space.
- Only DockMaster can temporary lease out a slip/storage space.

Waiting Lists For a Slip or Storage Space:
Rental guidelines address the process for a member to get on a waiting list for an available slip/storage space either during a year or for the following year.
There is also a work hours log to be used which lists various activities that you can participate in for accumulating hours to move you up the waiting list.
